No. EpubCraft has no sign-in and no subscription. There are no ads and no analytics SDKs. Your books are saved locally on your device.
Everything is saved locally on your device. EpubCraft doesn't upload your library anywhere. A few optional features connect to online services to do their job — see the Privacy section for exactly what each one sends.
OCR runs entirely on-device using Apple Vision. Point EpubCraft at a scanned PDF and it filters running headers and footers, groups text back into paragraphs, detects chapter breaks, and stitches pages together — including smart handling for languages without spaces, like Thai. Nothing is sent to a server for OCR.
EPUB, DOCX (Word), Markdown, plain text, and ZIP files. You can also merge several EPUBs into a single book with drag-to-reorder and automatic asset de-duplication — handy for combining chapters, volumes, or serialized releases.
Standard EPUB for Apple Books and most readers, KFX for Amazon Kindle, KEPUB for Kobo, and raw ZIP for inspection or debugging. Format conversion to KFX and KEPUB runs on-device.
